Christmas with the B's

Merry Christmas to all! Bess enjoyed her very first Christmas! They got toy sock monkeys, squeaky balls, a very annoying reindeer toy that sings "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer". And some Buddy Biscuits! Unfortunately, they have destroyed many of them already so I can't show you pictures of them... But I can show you festive pictures of them enjoying the holidays!

And then Bess who isn't normally allowed outside the living room and kitchen, (we have small gates blocking her from the dining room, and the hallway leading to all our bedrooms) was allowed during Christmas. So after a while we can't find her. We call her name and she comes walking up to us from my parent's bedroom. Looking like this:




One of her ribbons that was a little long got caught on the small trashcan in my parent's room! And she trailed it all through the house! (we took it off though) We all laughed and I hope it brings people reading this laughs as well. Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy the last days of Winter Break!

The B's Who Like to Snuggle

Very sorry!!!!!! I know I haven't posted in months! But it's winter break so I had time.

So we brought over Bonnie's bed to the side of the house Bess is allowed. Bonnie kept taking Bess's bed! But then the two curled up together on it! So here are them in different positions, snuggling! Very cute!

I will post later after Christmas to show them with their presents!

Bess is Better!

Hey everyone just posting to say that Bess is basically healed from getting spayed. She can finally play with Bonnie again! We didn't want her playing before because she could pop her stitches. But she's full of energy and went for a nice walk to today with one of her doggy friends! And she has quite the appetite! She definitely wanted to eat some of that cake! So letting everyone know she is ok and ready to play! She say's hi to all! (She is quite the talker) I'm sorry no picture today but soon i will post again!

The Cutest Cake in the WORLD!

My dad got the cutest cake for my mom's birthday. EVER! It's Bess and Bonnie in a present with two little side cakes that have dog tags! Take a look! please scroll all the way down to the bottom two see all the pictures and leave a comment!

Bess Is A "It"

Yes. It happened. She's spayed. She is traumatized. For about 30 minutes. She REFUSED to come out of her crate and would only hide in there for half an hour. Then we brought out the chicken. IT'S A MIRACLE! SHE'S CURED! After that she ate and drank water and is doing fine. She can't exercise much, otherwise her stitches will pop. So we have to give her sedatives so she will be all drowsy. At first they don't seem like they are working. BUT THEN. She is more stoned than ever. She can't leave her crate, can barely open her eyes and she stumbles every time she tries to walk. But luckily she has someone to support her. That's right, her loyal sister, Bonnie. Sisterly Love!

Bonnie's Cone of Shame

We have just come back from our vacation to Hawaii but while we were there we got a call from Petsmart Dog Hotel were Bonnie and Bess were staying. They said that Bonnie's back side was red and they checked her out to a vet. They thought it was her glands that keep gooey slimy stuff that dogs mark their territory with( but don't really use anymore) were clogged and they went to clean it out but found a mass of somekind and the lab results came back and thankfully it's not what we thought which was cancer or a tumor. It's most likely a harden infection and they will have to remove it but for now to get ride of the current infection before removing the hardened one so she is on antibiotics. And to keep her from licking at it she has a gigantic cone ( of shame for those who have seen the movie Up) but we switched her to her smaller one from when she was spayed but it's kinda squished...



Anyway since this blog IS about Bess she was quite devasted when we left her at the kennel so she and Bonnie are still getting over the trauma...

Bess Is Walking!

Bess is now going on long walks! She got all her shots and now can go to other places besides just around the block and she can go to the dog park! She was kinda nervous there and stayed near us but she will learn to like it! And she now goes to a leash called a spliter which is a leash that splits 2/3 down so you can walk to dogs together. Bess LOVES to walk with the big dog! (But she HATES the leash!)

UpDate

No Picture today but just thought everyone needed a update on what Bess is up too. Well first things first, if you ever come over to see her, BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU PUT YOUR SHOES! Before she liked to sleep on them, NOW, she likes to chew them even if you only took them off 4 seconds earlier! She loves them! Especially flipflops!

Next she keeps waking up at 6am to have breakfast, and since we Halls are not "morning people"(I mean, who is?), shes not my favorite guest to have in my room while I'm sleeping. So also If you plan on sleeping over some night soon, be prepared to have a "alarm" or high-pitched barks and whines.

But finally and what I think is the funniest thing, is my mom looked up on Google "Do corgis have a specific smell?" and found a website dedicated to the corgi aroma! And we found out that these people all think corgis feet smell like Fritos! So her new nickname is Frito Feet!(She doesn't respond to that name, but we try anyway)

Shoes, Shoes, and more Shoes!

So sorry that I haven't posted in a while but now i'm going to do 2 posts. So be sure to look at the list on the right beneath the Followers area where it shows all the different posts. Please look at all of them!

This post is about SHOES!!!! Bess has discovered a new fondness for shoes. She doesn't like to destroy them, just be near them or sleep on them. Very cute! Take a look! The one on the far right is hard to tell but she is sleeping on my slipper!
